Regional Missions

Beyond our local boundaries, Hampstead Baptist Church extends our reach to neighboring communities and regions, seeking to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing hardship and adversity. Whether through disaster relief efforts, educational programs, or healthcare initiatives, we stand in solidarity with our regional neighbors, offering assistance and support in Jesus' Name.

What does this look like?  HBC enjoys partnering with other North Carolina churches and North Carolina Baptists on Mission (among others) to serve in various capacities around the region. From disaster relief to ramp building and much more, HBC is ready to lend a hand in Jesus' Name.

Hurricane Helene Relief:
Most recently, HBC has an ongoing collection of funds and supplies to send to Western NC in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.  Knowing first-hand how devastating hurricanes are (having fallen victim to some pretty severe damage ourselves in years past), we were quick to want to help our brothers & sisters on the other end of the state in this extremely rare instance of a hurricane in their part of the state.  The work we're doing and plans we're making remain fluid as we hope to offer aid in whatever reasonable ways we find and offered to us.

HBC has "adopted" Mountain View Church in Black Mountain NC as hurricane relief efforts continue.  On this page, you'll see pictures from the multiple trips HBC teams have taken, October 9, October 16, October 30, and November 19... and more to come!  If you'd like to contribute toward the hurricane relief efforts, please click below and select "Hurricane Helene Relief."
