Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Well, this church year has flown by and it's time to reflect back and look forward at the same time. We had a good year: Our Men's Ministry took part in Disaster Relief at Riegelwood; our Handyman Ministry has worked on many projects; we helped those in need with our Holiday Ministry, our Vermont Mission trip and Cherokee Cove trips. I would like to thank all the guys that support our ministry. They always step up to whatever is needed. Also, I would like to thank the church in general for their ongoing support.

For our new men, we meet the last Sunday of every month at 8:00AM for our Prayer Breakfast and the first Wednesday night of each month for our "Missions Night" meeting at 7:00PM. We would love for you to join us wherever and whenever you can fit it in.

As for the upcoming year, we will continue to be involved with Disaster Relief. Hopefully we will get more people trained so we can better respond to people in need. Mike Becker will be focusing in this area this year. Along with our other ministries, I will be looking at way to better minister to our military families. God has laid this burden on my heart and I hope the entire church will join me in this effort. I believer our Pastor has felt the same call.

Presently, we are working on a widow church member's house that is in need of repairs. I will be leading a trip to Cherokee Cove, September 27-30, 2007. This trip is open to the entire church. Let me know if you can go. I will have a signup sheet on the board.

We have committed to be responsible for the second Wednesday night dinner each month if you are interested in helping in this area, see Mike; he will be heading this up. Some of the proceeds will go toward Disaster Relief efforts. Also, if you would like to help cook or clean up or be a caller for our monthly Breakfast, see Mike.

Finally, I would like to thank God for His leadership and for sustaining this and all our ministries.

In His service,
Sammy Disarno
